Lufthansa Systems has decided to cooperate with the
Airline Revenue Management Training Group in order to restructure
its user training methods for its ProfitLine revenue management
solution.
In the dynamic airline environment, choosing the
right revenue management solution is a key factor of success, but a
systematic analysis and the fine tuning of all related business
processes within the airline is of equal importance, especially for
newcomers to the field. In order to enable its clients to make the
best possible use of their ProfitLine revenue management solution,
Lufthansa Systems has decided to combine efficient system training
with business process consulting.
By combining the strength of both parties, i.e.
profound expertise by Lufthansa Systems’ revenue management
IT-specialists and the RM Training Group’s business process know
how, Lufthansa Systems delivers a user training that covers the
complete picture of revenue management.
If you
are a ProfitLine Yield Rembrandt customer, and you are in
need of revenue management training, or you would like to obtain
training material to support your own training staff, contact us.
The core of ExPretio’s
technology is a real-time Pricing Engine that optimizes fares over
the whole network and provides short-term seat-allocation controls.
The Engine explicitly takes into account passenger behavior. This
allows the Engine to operate in a “fenceless” environment, making it
the perfect tool to respond to LCCs. Schedules, latest booking
reports and current competitors’ fares (uploaded from electronic
fare filing systems) also constitute the Engine’s input.
In strategic planning mode, the Engine
is used to design and validate medium term fare policies and
products. In tactical, day-to-day operations, it will be used either
in a “pure” pricing environment, thus providing precious decision
aid to pricing analysts having to deal with thousands of daily fare
changes, or will be seamlessly integrated into ExPretio’s Dynamic
Capacity Management Framework. This last configuration allows for
the joint, coherent and simultaneous resolution of the pricing and
inventory allocation problems faced by a typical airline and helps
maintaining fares and available seat quantities optimally
synchronized. Contact us for more information.
